New Year, New Heights 🏆

We can't do no more talking, no more wishin', no more wantin'.. we gotta GO GET IT. We gotta get shit done, cause we can, we're capable. What's stoppin us besides us? Let's eat.

Another day, another chance to reach that goal.

Look this can't be the year we play around with our time.

We all want to achieve our dreams and experience more life.

We all want peace, prosperity and health.

We all would love to achieve financial freedom..

But what does it take?

First things first..

You gotta want it.

Elevation should be constant. In life you are constantly going through trials, you are constantly experiencing, it's only right that you be constantly learning and growing as well.

This constant growth requires change.. change in habits, environment, friend groups, mindset..

And change can be hard.. you'll have to make some tough decisions..

So be real with yourself this year.

How bad do you want it?

Once you've decided that you're gonna own your life & accomplish whatever it is you desire..

You have to learn to embrace the grind.. embrace discomfort.

It won't always be easy to break bad habits, to unlearn some things you've known your whole life, it won't always be easy to lose friends & family members who don't respect your boundaries..

It won't always be easy to look yourself in the mirror & realize you're what's holding you back.. but its necessary.

Switch it up. Try some self teaching.

- Learn what you don't know - I call Youtube "Youtube University" if I ever wanted to know more about something or learn something new I start there.

There's a saying "if you wanna hide something from a black man, put it in a book" .. when I heard that, it seemed like a slap in the face.

I've always loved to read since a kid, but at that moment, I knew I had to to pick the habit back up . What's in these books that they don't want us to know?

A LOT! I can tell you from experience.. getting ahold of the right books can be life-changing.

Search for books online using sites like or (there are more, these are 2 I have experience with) I'll post a few recommendations at the end of this reading.

Listen to podcasts & motivational/informational videos instead of music sometimes.

Listen while you drive, while you shower, as you sleep.. do whatever it takes to get that knowledge in your life.

Switch up what you watch on tv. Watch more eye-opening documentaries on things that you're interested about or people who you admire.

Put things in front of you that will actually benefit you - not just entertain you for the moment.

Do a fitness challenge or simply push yourself to workout for at least 1 hour per week.

As you get more comfortable working out, consider elevating by adding more time & more challenges! Health is wealth. Love yourself more today.

Be clear about your reason why.

I remember when I got tired of the way my life was going & decided to take control .. I thought a lot about my siblings.

I have a sister with special needs. Being in the position I was in at the moment, I couldn't be of service to her or my other 2 siblings.

God forbid something happen to dad & now the responsibility turns to me.. I wouldn't have known what to do.

I wouldn't have been able to be strong enough mentally or financially - I had to be real with myself & boss up.

What is your reason why? What keeps you up at night?

Tip: Write sh*t down.

Write the question: What changes do you need to make .. & why? And write the (honest) answer. Keep it somewhere you can go back & read it daily.

When thinking about the changes you want to make - be clear.

Whatever it is, as soon as you think of it, there may be a voice in your head that tells you all these reasons why your idea is dumb or unrealistic.

Maybe because no one else around you has done it or maybe because people always shoot you down when you talk to them about your goals and plans.

Don't listen to that voice. That voice is afraid of change.

Don't listen to those people. They already gave up on their dreams.

Identify your weaknesses.

Do you procrastinate?

Are you addicted to recreational drugs, sugar, alcohol, social media, pornography, gambling, or gaming?

Do you use negative self-talk?

Are there negative people in your life who discourage you from trying and don't hold you accountable when they should?

Be real with yourself fam.

Know this.. it's cool to get your family and friends involved with your changes & you may be tempted to try to help them change as well but listen..

I know from experience.. it just don't work like that. Ive tried & tried & tried..

there will be people who act like they're ready & all for it & as time goes on they will stop & go back to their old habits.

Don't let this stop you, let your reason why be strong enough to keep you going through it all.
